Posted Aug 26th, 2019 in News

EXCITE International wishes to announce that Naomi Aronson will be stepping down as Chair of the Payers’ Advisory Committee (PAC) effective August 31st.

We are, at the same time pleased to announce that Jo Carol Hiatt, Chair of the Inter-Regional New Technology Committee at Kaiser Permanente has agreed to succeed Naomi as Chair.

Naomi was instrumental in forming the PAC soon after the inception of EXCITE International and under her outstanding leadership the Committee now spans five countries and provides significant input into Early Technology Review and Protocol development for clinical trials.

We are truly indebted to Naomi for her invaluable contributions and are thrilled that she will continue as a committed member of the PAC.

Jo Carol has provided steadfast support to the PAC as a key member since its inception. She brings the unique attributes of a deep understanding of clinical practice, technology development and selection as a senior member of one of the most respected health systems in the world.

Jo Carol joined Kaiser Permanente as a general surgeon, later serving as a member of the Southern California Permanente Medical Group Board. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, medical degree from Duke University, and master of business administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Please join us in congratulating Jo Carol and expressing our deep appreciation to Naomi for her ongoing stellar contributions

With best regards
