Dr. Raphael Hofstein is a consultant and board member in life-science enterprises, and past president & CEO of MaRS Innovation. He is a member of the EXCITE Board of Directors and the Advisory Council.
Dr. Hofstein is a consultant and board member in life-science enterprises. Now retired from MaRS Innovation (now TIAP), he joined the organization in 2009 after past positions that include VP marketing at Ecogen (Bucks County, Pa.), President and CEO of Hadasit (TTO of Hadassah, Jerusalem) and chairman of Hadasit BioHolding (listed on TASE). Dr. Hofstein is a member of several FP and NFP boards and is the chairman of Clinical Trials Ontario.
Dr. Hofstein received his PhD and Master of Science degrees in Life Sciences and Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel followed by post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School.
